Zoo Camp Programs
Micke Grove Zoo is excited to announce the return of camps this summer! This year, we have more camps to choose from with more themes and more fun! Two sessions of camp are offered daily, morning sessions are for kids ages 7-9 and afternoon sessions are for kids ages 10-11.
Camps are week long and include games, crafts, and activities that match the theme of each week! A light snack is provided daily as well as a camp shirt.
Tips for Camp:
We’re excited to have your child join us at camp! To help them have the best experience, please apply sunscreen before arrival each day. Campers should come dressed in comfortable clothes that can get a little messy, along with closed-toe shoes (sneakers are best, no Crocs please!) and a hat. Sunglasses are always welcome.
Please be sure to send your child with a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. And just a friendly heads-up, some of our favorite activities include water play, so don’t be surprised if your camper comes home a little wet after a fun squirt gun battle!

It’s time to put on your detective hats and help solve various mysteries around the zoo! Whether it’s observing animal behavior, studying unidentified bones, or solving the case of [redacted], campers will use their critical thinking skills and teamwork in this fun-filled camp!
